I have used 1mil pvc but I try not to. It does work well but it is very time consuming cutting by hand.
I can't wait to see if there is a magic solution!!!
I stopped using alupanel and proveer's stock brand. It was de-laminating and max metal seems to be the best
And Grimco is pretty good about matching pricing on it wink wink
I don't pay near $80 for Max Metal from Grimco. Maybe the red you have to get double sided. I get it white one sided for a LOT less. If the price seems to high then maybe cover it with red. But I didn't originally see you needed it red. I'd prefer paying the extra for a nice red finish.
Don't be part of the permit process at all. I hate dealing with that stuff anyway. Don't even put your name on the permit, let him do it. If he wants to do it that way then fine. I have customers all the time pull stuff like that. As long as you don't sign off on anything I can't see it hurting...
We have done this exact same things for a local fence company. I believe we did the polystyrene route. They were set up for temporary car dealer license plates. super cheap. It possibly was Stouse I don't remember. But I am possitive they were the temporary license plates that you see at car...
Yes, the last time had a lot to do with the Adkins Diet fad (it was listed again this time on the notices) believe it or not and it didn't really effect anything as far as we are concerned. This time we have lost a couple good contacts and they have been emailing us to make sure we are getting paid.
If your doing a bunch jigsaw or route them. You can stack them together, don't go to fast they melt or is it don't go to slow haha
If your doing a very large amount get them die cut.
Interstate Brands (Hostess) is in a very bad spot right now. I know because they have been one of my best clients for 13+ years. Not sure if it has anything to do with it or not but it's nice to think so. So for my families sake and all of their employees.... Please go eat a damn Twinkie or two
Depending on your knowledge, they can be usefull. I was in the business long before taking one and I learned a lot. They build confidence more than anything.
I don't think I have got or lost a job based on what company I got it from. I went to orical and have been helped by both instructors since.
It's just a sale.
If I saw it out front of another sign shop I wouldn't freak.
Cheap black and white wide format printing though. Wonder how good of quality you can get.
Don't get me started on cars, I am a huge gearhead. I seem to be wasting more and more time on here haha
I would have to bank on the Chevy though. Unless the diesel is tricked out. I have seen some 10 sec 1/4 mile black smokers.
Someone needs to do a "your ride" thread. I want to post up haha
After reading your reply I feel like you would benefit from a program like CyrIous or another type of sign pricing software. I have a feeling you are incorporating substrate pricing into a existing pricing system. Then find what you would want to profit per sq ft of your least expensive...
I just got finished with my lunch and I am off to meetings with clients. I will TRY and come up with some percentages because that is the best way to describe it.
How can cut colored vinyl be more than printed? I'm not talking about complicated or time consuming weeding, obviously that is...
