Well it didn't quite work that way. The sensor read it as empty but it continued to pull from that cartridge. So while I couldn't keeps tabs on the level of that cart it sucked it dry. i swapped the other cart to that slot, then put a fresh one in the empty slot (Good sensor) and it prints just...
I need to figure out if there is a way to switch the supply ink cart in a mimaki cjv150-75.
We had issues getting the second (right) black ink cart out a little while back and I guess damaged a chip inside. It stopped reading that there was an ink cart there. I need to switch the supply cart to...
usually I make my cut lines buy placing an outline around the whole of the image, making it slightly larger, then outlining the all again. I have used the "Frame Extraction" tool. And still do sometimes. I don't know about the "Convert Cutfile" you mentioned.
So here is a weird development. I logged into a secondary account on the computer and it worked fine. The file I was trying to use is a standard of ours. I have printed, and cut, several hundred of them. the job stays in RasterLink's job list. It shouldn't be a problem with that file.
Okay, I am using RasterLink 6 through CorelDRAW. Pretty much I create the design, convert it to pantone (Other color spaces come out really dark due to bad profiling) then send it to RasterLink. It all goes fine up to there. I can cut the design without incident. I can print the design. But when...
Hello All.
I am running a Mimaki CJV 150-75 with CCMMYYKK SS21 inks. For the last year or so things have worked fine without much issue. Today we hooked up a Graphtec Plotter and it runs fine. Now any time I try to run a Print/Cut job on the Mimaki it fails. PS Interpreter Panic Error. I can...
Hello all.
I am operating a CJV 150-75. We had a job to print today and I miscalculated how much vinyl I had left on the roll. Does anybody know of a way I can make this thing go back and cut what is done so that it's not a wasted 80" of material?
I called grimco. They said to Try peeling the Transfer tape off of the carrier sheet instead of the carrier sheet from the transfer tape. It seems to have worked on a previously messed up piece so I am trinting another right now to try it.
Thanks for the input. I am a complete novice here. I was washing screens in a screen printing shop and my boss asked if I wanted to try my hand in the art department. I am an artist by nature but this is teetering on technician stuff in my mind. Thanks again. I will adjust those.
The vinyl we are using is supposed to be applied at 230 degrees F. Our dryers are set around 105. It isn't acting like it was fully set. I tape the applied transfer film to the table to pull the carrier sheet off, pulling a corner up and sliding it along the table moving slowly. Some parts stick...
Hello all. First let me say that I am not only new to the forum but to the process of Print/Cut Vinyl.
We are running a Mimaki CJV 150-75 along with Rasterlink 6 V5.15 and Finecut 8. I have had no proper training on this machine and have been figuring it out as I go. I have managed to set up a...
