Do you use this program for setting up text and backgrounds for signs or wraps or is it too much a program or too time consuming for our production turn around? The output is unreal but my concern is time.

3d Max 6 ..I got a million questions but im just wondering if I should invest the time to relearn the program? Im thinking it might turn into a technical nightmare you know, bang your head off the desk type of thing!

I learned it when I was in school, its a killer program if you know how to run it.
I got a version of it and sat down with it and I'm totally at square one. If you dont use it ya loose it!

I like to use "Blow UP" its a filter that will let you resize images, works with CS2 and up and PS Elements...very simple and smooths out all those bit map chunkys...

Yeah I got the hindge straight and my mounting technique is good but how long do you typically wait from when the print comes off the printer to mounting it with the laminator? I assumed I could do it directly but I think I need to wait a while
Stan b gotcha... carl... cold mount but I have heat its just not on... The ink is dry to touch but vinyl is to soft to mount...I think moble impact said it best, it needs to "solid back up" I printed 2 last night and came in and mounted them they went down perfect then the fresh prints wouldnt...
Question I am printing some 18x24 photos to cal vinyl and was having a hard time mounting them to an 040 styrine ...it seams the ink it too fresh and softens the vinyl making it hard to mount...
My question is how long should i wait before attempting to mount the print???

I have not attempted it yet but if you cut mag with an xacto knife for example you dont have to cut all the way through it. you just score it and bend it and it will break apart easily.
what mil mag do you use to cut in your machine?
I heard that you can run 30 mil but the fellers catalog...
I have no clue but under edit- preferances (file paths) there is a temp file folder that might be your scratch
also are you running any eye candy filters this could bog it down...
