Do you use Quick sets? I've experienced that there are settings deep inside a quick set that can alter the color of a given print. I've run into this a few times, so I try to be very consistent with which quick set I use. Some of them are so similar it doesn't seem like a big deal, but it can be...

Qty... That's why they are asking you. Someone already looked online, and the cost for their piddly qty needed is too high. So the crafty one with a cricut is saying a local sign shop could do it for less. Point them to that website... Explain business, capabilities and an outfit set up to do...

Just be aware... There are businesses listed on there, that maybe signed up for free 7 years ago. Since then, they have realized that installing product you have not produced is a pita, and will pass on you. For those who can produce it, they would rather focus on their own customers...

We almost never use static cling anymore. It tends to fail a lot in the winter - not so clingy when it's cold. We use a lot of Glass Apeel these days.

Laminate it, but don't mask it. I agree with Gino - Center hinge - but I would think that you start in the center and work out to the side, then go back to the center and work out to the other side.

But you would still have to set up the file with a white spot - you couldn't just do a flood on the image. So the halftone makes sense for offset printing, but with digital printing you shouldn't need to half tone it.

Tell them clear on the bottom is not possible. The simplest way to do this is reverse print on clear, and back it with a white vinyl with clear adhesive.

So, what I would do, print it on our Agfa, use white ink and set it to a variable pixel mask. Then the top would be opaque, but the bottom would fade out to clear - the white would only print behind the pixels, and as the color thins out, so would the white. I know Stacy is grateful that I have...
