  1. Need Help Removal of Print From Sign Surface

Agree. Consider the labor in making the current signs reusable. Best, to start fresh. ...But If she wants to upcycle and clean them up.... As long as they aren't backlit... Maybe she can save some coin with diy prep for what they want
  2. EstiMate

Thread 'Estimate and Accounting Software' https://www.signs101.com/threads/estimate-and-accounting-software.173613/ ETA... Sorry, I may have linked to the wrong thread.... Still looking. Op funny, because there was just recently a thread about estimate no more? Really just trying to help...
  3. Waiting for apocalyptic rain and wind from Hilary.....

News cycles are the worst. Only reliable after... Like that woman who faked a kidnapping, reporting a lost child, then vanishing... I have to take everything I see and with a grain of truth anymore... Unless I was there. Though... I really doubt the real flooding deviation in SoCal is...
  4. Waiting for apocalyptic rain and wind from Hilary.....

Looked pretty bad. And the Tijuana river flooding, bringing sewage into the streets, farms, homes... Is that normal? Asking, don't live down there and I've never visited.
  5. How do you keep consistent colours on roll to roll printer? (Epson SC80600)

Still in the queue, and you pull it back up and it's different? That is a weird one.
  6. How do you keep consistent colours on roll to roll printer? (Epson SC80600)

Do you use Quick sets? I've experienced that there are settings deep inside a quick set that can alter the color of a given print. I've run into this a few times, so I try to be very consistent with which quick set I use. Some of them are so similar it doesn't seem like a big deal, but it can be...
  7. Flip & fold cheer signs?

Qty... That's why they are asking you. Someone already looked online, and the cost for their piddly qty needed is too high. So the crafty one with a cricut is saying a local sign shop could do it for less. Point them to that website... Explain business, capabilities and an outfit set up to do...
  8. Rant Hiring Installers

Just be aware... There are businesses listed on there, that maybe signed up for free 7 years ago. Since then, they have realized that installing product you have not produced is a pita, and will pass on you. For those who can produce it, they would rather focus on their own customers...
  9. Large graphics single person install

    +10 for the bodyguard
  10. Large graphics single person install

We almost never use static cling anymore. It tends to fail a lot in the winter - not so clingy when it's cold. We use a lot of Glass Apeel these days.
  11. A pleasure to be amongst you

Our conversations go in many different directions... but yah, they all end up in the same place...
  12. Large graphics single person install

I think his wife has one of those, and uses it about 10 times a day.
  13. Large graphics single person install

Laminate it, but don't mask it. I agree with Gino - Center hinge - but I would think that you start in the center and work out to the side, then go back to the center and work out to the other side.
  14. Ink fade on clear? How to...

But you would still have to set up the file with a white spot - you couldn't just do a flood on the image. So the halftone makes sense for offset printing, but with digital printing you shouldn't need to half tone it.
  15. A pleasure to be amongst you

Welcome to the Arena... I mean Forum :welcome:
  16. Ink fade on clear? How to...

    2nd surface print, that's why.
  17. Ink fade on clear? How to...

Tell them clear on the bottom is not possible. The simplest way to do this is reverse print on clear, and back it with a white vinyl with clear adhesive.
  18. Ink fade on clear? How to...

So, what I would do, print it on our Agfa, use white ink and set it to a variable pixel mask. Then the top would be opaque, but the bottom would fade out to clear - the white would only print behind the pixels, and as the color thins out, so would the white. I know Stacy is grateful that I have...
  19. Close Front Cover Message

We use the spongy tip of a swabbit, I'd take a photo for the OP, but our Roland is an XR640 - not sure if it would be in the same place?
