I have a epson 10000 and I took the printhead out to clean out due to a little banding in Magenta. I put it back in with no problems. Now there is no ink coming out when I do a nozzle check. Do I need to purge the lines or head? Any help please.
thanks

600 dpi max
I've also notice that I have a.02.12 firmware. What is the latest. How do I update firmware using parrell port connection. I tried updating but won't find the new firmware. Does this have anything to do with not printing in 1200 dpi? thank you.
only prints at 600 dpi
thanks for your response. I am using adobe photoshop to print, and when I go to print options it only gives me 600 dpi max. Do I have to use a sign software to get that option available?
thanks,
I bought this printer last month, I can't seem to figure out how to set the printing at 1200 dpi. It says on the properties 600dpi. The other dpi's are not there to select. Does anyone have the right drivers. I can't seem to get it online installed correctly.
Please help me. I want to use...
I just got this printer. I loaded the drivers through HP website. Why does it recognize my media at 36 inches and when I have a 42 inch printer? It also only prints at 60 inches long. Do I have the wrong profile? I don't know if I installed the wrong drivers or firmware. Thanks.
I have this HP 5000ps, I have 2 problems, " check Printhead path 2" keeps coming on. What do I do. They are not that old.
The other problem is that it doesn't recognize any of my UV inks. Its telling me to insert the ink, ( 0%, 0ml).
Thanks Bill,
All the cartridges are new but they are expired within a month or two. Does this make a difference on if it is expired not long ago? Thanks. Chris
I have a HP 5000ps and recognizes the printheads but won't read or recognize all 6 ink cartridges. The printer has been sitting for 7 months since it did this. Do I need all six cartridges or is this gonna cost me lots of money to fix? thanks.
I just got HP5500ps 42in plotter. I have Dye HP81 ink in the machine now and plan to change it to HP83 UV ink. Do I have to replace the printheads or can I just use the remainder that is left on the lines on a sheet of media paper? Thanks.
Chris
