Looking for used min. 48" plotter in Chicagoland area. Local sell prefered but if deal is right will explore other options.
Plotter has to be in excellent working condition.
Relax !!
I wrapped my White car with Matte Black 1080 and all door jams and areas that were showing white I came back with stripes of same material. You will never see that it’s a stripe/touch up.
Car looked great and some people argued with me that it’s a paint job.
It takes little extra...
You are correct, you don't have to have it if you are ok with manualy changing tools. I can't imagine doing it that way but than again our programs on average use 3-5 tools.
3 tool changes per job 5 jobs per day = 15 + times manual labor etc.
More is less as they say, plus when spending good...
Forgive me for interupting your thread but are you refering to tool changer ?
I used Multicam SF, MG and 3000 series for past 13 years and two things I can share with you is that
-CNC without tool changer is a mistake no matter what you plan on cutting.
- Multicam makes some amazing CNC machines.
Just finished my own car Nissan Maxima with matte black and I love the product. Nothing special to it, just pick easy panel to get you going.
Go easy on heat take your time and enjoy. Result is fantastic.
Some people wonder why i painted my car with black primer :-)
Some people love the look...
My personal experience and opinion.
I just came back from 3M advanced installer training and I would recommend this option to anyone that is looking for
training. They have amazing place setup and amazing personnel to handle any question that you can come up with.
What’s more important you...
Hello everyone,
I went to Office Max store today and saw screen printed signs on 1mm sintra or komatex or something else that had brushed aluminum finish on print side.
My question is, does anyone offer pvc sheet with such finish or was it vinyl ?
Does anyone makes all kinds weird finish...
Forget tools for right now. You can purchase ball nose cutters for cheap and they last forever when it comes to 3d routing. I don't know what type of materials you plan on model with with but your local tool supplier will help you along with new projects.
We do thick MDF sometimes up to 10"...
If you can't send this job to water jet however, go 18000 rpm with slow but not too slow feed rate. I would cut this in 3 or 4 passes 18k RPM and start with slow feed rate. Adjust on fly and cut whatever you need.
After you are done with this project you will understand why people sugested water...
I'm wondering what is the best way to handle 80" or 100" plastic rool.
Feeding to table saw or CNC router.
Any sugestions from those who had to deal with these ? I found Power Roller but I'm wondering if there is a better way to handle these 3500 lbs monsters.
I agree with all of you guys but certain thermoformed projects do require a lot of hand cutting. That is why I'm researching something that I can utlize. For rest of the vinyl cutting we use two 5ft flat bed plotters btw
Has anyone used this product by any chance ? http://www.widgetworksunlimited.com/CNC_Sign_Vinyl_Drag_Knife_Bit_p/cnc-vinyl_knife.htm
I'm looking for feedback and trying to find out if this tool will last few jobs before replacing blade. If there is anything else worth of checking would you guys...
ArtCam pro can convert your picture into 3d relief.
Don't expect to take picture of your face and have ArtCam come up with full size 3d Relief. Look up Delcam and try to go to ArtCam pro forum to get better idea. I use ArtCam for all our 3d mold used in thermoforming. I've done my own face by...
