What can be wrong if my yellow and magenta mix? (Roland SP540V). When I do a test print, the yellow is not clean, but mixed. Only after one or 2 powerful cleans, or about 400mm of printing, does the yellow become clean. I did manual clean, but that did not help.

I need to replace the scan motor on my Roland SP540V. Can anybody tell me what settings do I need to check and adjust after replacement? Anything else I should know? And if I replace the feed motor, are there any settings I should check and adjust after replacement?

Solution OK, after much frustration and down time, I think we eventually found the reason for the problem when a tech with a greater than average knowledge and experienced suggested that the feed motor and/or grit roller, might need fastening. The tech forcibly removed the cover from the feed...

I've done the calibrations, etc. Can any one tell me what is the function of the Cable flex-cut that is part of the drive unit? Might the problem be there? Also, could it be that I cut the linear encoder 3 mm too long so that it now is not tight enough?
