Thanks so much guys! This was my problem... I replaced both cables this morning. it took about an hour. The cable I took out was cracked and had wires showing.
When I design cut files I simply draw a box around the entire cut area as a registration mark. (I find it easier that using Graphtec's cut plot registration marks in the design file. I can have multiple cut layouts/designs in one file.)
If you are wanting to simply print a pdf from a...
So I have an issue with Cutting Master and 2 of my FC5100-150 plotters. If I change the step size to 1016 on both the plotter and CM I loose the pole size. It comes up with a cutter not responding to pole size. I can use the pole size when the settings are at 254 but the quality of the cut is...

Have you tried switching the usb port and the omega dongle to a different port? I have had issues with Onyx droping the dongle when I start windows but never after that.
I seem to be getting dots when the top layer of foil is overprinting leaving white dots all around the overlap. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before? It's a new issue, would static or a pressure setting cause this? I have tried changing the darkness but no luck.
Thanks,
Jonathan
