We use white Sandblast mask from Gregory (2190) for non magnetic cars. You can print on it and laminate and contour cut. Downside is that it is adhesive and will pick up dirt and stop sticking. Our autocross/track guys get 6-12 uses out of it depending on how careful they are.

Besides taxes, the biggest reason to buy in a LLC (or some separate entity) is for resale options down the line. If you don't you can kind of lock yourself up....our last leased building was owned by a family company and in the name of said company. They wanted to wind up the company, the...
We regularly use 613 and have had very few problems. NO experience with TKO. We used to use FM Expressions and they were not great. I believe that 613 is one of the orignal partners in FM, but not sure. In most cases, if their system balks (613 or FM) at the line size, it really won't press...
No help on your problem except to say that we had a similar issue. On a long print, it would work fine, but on shorter ones it would not read the back marks at all no matter what we did.
I just decided to switch back to CM4. I don't regularly use Illustrator, but when I installed CM4 it...
This isn't aimed at you, but how is someone supposed to know that CM5 is a whole other program rather than a version upgrade? I mean I get paid to make signs, not track forum posts talking about whether version upgrades are written by the same company or not. And they make no mention of...
I swear I saw this discussed but I can't find it, sorry if I missed it.
Has anyone upgraded to CM5 and found that it will not cut properly from files/registration marks setup in CM4? Corel22 if it matters.
When I send the cutline/reg mark layer from Corel to CM5, it either doesn't recognize...
Those two items press differently regardless, but that is pretty drastic. I assume you varied time and temp according the recommendation of the blank manufacturer?
What kind of printer? On Sawgrass, you need to select the "profile" that matches the substrate.
It really looks like lack of...
Not sure if this helps, but we do a TON of magnetic letter/numbers for use on autocross and track cars. We use .030 magnum for everything. Assuming the surface is smooth and there is not a ton of bondo on the car, it will generally stay put up to ~70mph. People who use it on track at higher...
You can probably get them by calling Graphtec USA. We had a 1992 model FC2100 flatbed that lasted until 2016 (!). They helped me with obscure parts several times.

I have had Tajima, Barudan and SWF in my shop. We still have the Tajima single head and it just keeps going and going. The Barudan were all the old turret head ones and although limited in colors and hard to operate (these are one step above tape fed machines to load designed) they sew the best...
Sorry, I was not clear. The issue is not printing, adding bleed is no problem. The issue is that when I apply the printed item (say printed to the edge with red) on the white magnetic, it is almost impossible to get the registration of the two perfect and even a 1/32" "miss" shows that white...
We make a lot of die cut shapes out of magnetic material (individual numbers/letters and various shaped "panels") and would like to leverage our wide format printer to help with production time on these.
Currently, if we are making a given number that has a white outline with a red number, we...
Which seal model has the take up? I couldn't seem to find it on their website.
To clarify, I definitely need something that rolls it back up so we have a complete roll of colored material when done.
My concern, since I obviously know very little about laminators, is one that is heavy duty...
We use a ton of colored magnetic material and another propietary material, both of which are a base material with regular vinyl laminated on top. We have a good source for the magnetic, but certain colors are special order and require 4-6 rolls to be purchased at once, and other colors are...
Recent convert to Nextiva Voip service and Charter Business Cable from a T-1/Voice package.
There are/were some configuration issues just because I feed the lines into my existing phone system and there is not a lot of knowledge on the internet, but that is nothing to do with the service.
The...
