  1. Food Trailer Wrap Question

I don’t think she’s being too picky. That is really bad for a vehicle wrap. I personally would not even start printing that. I usually look at the file full scale before sending to RIP and if pixelated, I send the customer screenshots to show the pixels and to confirm they are aware it will...
  2. Onyx setting up barcodes for print to cut?

Did you make the cutter active in Onyx? You have to first make the cutter active in Rip Queue under File, then Manage Cutters. When you choose the cutter to make active you can press the configure button for settings. The way I print, I open the file in Job Editor and on the first page of...
  3. 3M 2080 - do I remove cover film before transfer paper applied for graphics?

If you’re cutting stripes, letters, graphics etc. remove the film before you send to the cutter. If you apply the transfer tape to the film, it will only lift the film, not the vinyl and you will have to premask all over again.

  9. Is this a printhead problem?

A lot of the time when I do an alignment or such, that is the way my magenta looks depending on the material. The one I use to check my printhead quality isn't that one. I'm currently away from my printer, but I know the way to get there is to go to: >Settings >Image Quality Maintenance >Clean...

  12. Yellotools Demo Videos

The cutting mat from Yellotools is absolutely amazing. The quality is superb. I love it. Mine is 59" x 24ft. Having it all in once piece versus 3 mats pushed together is awesome. I've had it for over 2 years now and I'm still on my first side of use. It's a little bit hazy from all the cuts, but...

  16. HP L560

My substrate jams at the beginning were frustrating as well. Some were due to the curing door as I kept forgetting to open it (and sometimes still do forget). Others were due to the heat setting being way too high. I've noticed that this machine doesn't need as high of a heat setting as the 360...

I received it as well and wasn't able to download either.
  18. HP 360 Screen Problems

Talked with a tech this morning. He is going to check if there might be a power supply kicking it out seeing it's twice within a year. I will update once the part(s) are replaced
  19. HP 360 Screen Problems

Bought our printer last year and when the tech was training me, the screen went out. HP tech came and the screen was okay, but I requested she change it anyway seeing that there's obviously something wrong with it. Here we are again, not even a year later and the screen went out again. Anyone...
  20. Graphtec FC8600 Won't register

Hmmm. So it shouldn't be a problem. Yes, you may have a problem with a drift. When doing long contour cut, as with any contour cut, making sure everything is lined up absolutely straight is what has helped me. I've attached a couple of photos of how I make sure everything is lined up straight...
