No luck today. I switched the 2 (K) cables and neither side showed on the test print and I lost both (Y). oops.
I put the cables back to original position but then (K) and (Y) didn't test print. double oops. (test prints A and C are fine)
I will pull out the (K) head tomorrow and see if I...
I see a part called L-BEARING LWES15C3R2320QE with a part number of 21895152.
It is on page 1-2 diagram and page 1-3 for the part number.
Line 32
Does that look like the part you are asking about?
Maybe a more knowledgeable person will reply soon with better information.
Thank you very much for the reply. Joe House
I did not notice an O-ring.
Would that be underneath the locking nut where the ink tube meets the damper? Or where the damper meets the black plastic ink inlet part?
Edit: Found an o-ring on the ink tube where gold nut attaches to the damper. I...
I have an XC-540 but the K head only printed 1 side on a nozzle check.
I did basic cleanings and manual cleanings but no improvement.
I syringe pulled both (K) lines from below the capping station and have good suction and they draw ink.
I removed the left or closest (K) damper and noticed...
We are looking at purchasing a new laminator also. I saw that Kala opened a branch in Texas. I sent an email to Frank for more information at their new location. We are trying to decide between a RSC-1651LSH or the Kala MISTRAL 1650 - 65".
We have been using the same Dingtec laminator for...
After paying a tech we discovered all we needed to do was increase the Scan Interval to 1.5 seconds.
This option is under the Sub Menu ---> Scan Interval
We did try slowing the print speed which did not help but the tech said the Scan Interval will keep the head at the ends of the printer for a...
Tried everything except for changing the head. I sent a sample to my customer and they are okay with the print being a little fuzzy.
Our team here does not think it would be the head since dozens of other orders are printing perfectly.
Even a black circle with red text prints perfect. We did...
Looks like we need to try B tomorrow. No fuzz on the heads either. Not sure what a "16 pass" is.
My artist wanted me to mention that this is also a re-order that did not have this issue the last 3 times it was printed.
Thanks guys for the help.
I had a tech come out and he changed the K and Lc heads. Now printing without overspray.
I did try cleaning the encoder strip but that didn't help (it was dirty though so it probably helped with something in the future)
I also changed the cap tops. That didn't stop the overspray in our...
I have had overspray and already changed the dampers which helped a little but I still have overspray.
I am printing slowly to compensate at the moment. No overspray when printing slowly.
Head height is down to lowest. (I have never raised it)
