I thought this thread was a lost cause-thanks for your response. I just did a search on molex connectors but there are so many to choose from. Is there a generic one that are used for ink motors? The ink motor I have is a DC 24V/3W. Much appreciated for your help!
Sorry for the late reply! I actually managed to resolve the issue (temporarily). I've searched online and found that wiping with isopropyl might do the trick and in fact it cleared up 95%! As to why these 2 colours clog up faster than others...that is yet to be determined. Thanks for your help...
I presume it is 60 series. The label reads: CET-600110-01. The CET tech only changed the secondary filters and the negative pressure filter. The rest I had to do myself. As for flush, are you referring to the spray times? If so, the tech told me to put 99 secs/spray 3 times. We originally had 25...
Hello,
We have a CET Xpress 1000Q UV printer and we initially thought our print heads were clogged from just regular use. We replaced the heads for both cyan and magenta (4 brand new Ricoh Gen4 heads) including the ink tubes and secondary filters on the carriage. First three weeks it ran like a...
I've recently bought 4 new ink pump motors for our CET Xpress 1000Q. Please excuse my lack of knowledge around replacing printer parts. The motor came with just two exposed wires and no connector. I'm planning to replace one of the motors but before I do so, I would like some guidance on how to...
My apologies for reviving an old(ish) thread. I'm just thinking whether there would be a notable difference in 5 or 6 um. When you compare these two filters: http://www.sign-in-china.com/products/14869/flora_uv_printer_filter.html vs...
Thanks for your suggestion ChrisN. I've verified with CET that our 1000Q only uses negative pressure pumps (primary and secondary). The secondary kicks in if the primary fails. In your opinion, would you think the primary or secondary filter could be the culprit?
We have a CET Color Xpress 1000Q UV printer but running into issues where the negative pressure does not go beyond the +0.3. As a result, I believe this is the reason behind our nozzle test showing up with gaps, faded colors, and extreme banding on prints. Everything that could go wrong went...
