  1. Need Help Onyx Postershop 12.2 exe file / download

Do you think you could post the copy of the printer driver? I recently sold my printer and Epson has made it virtually impossible for someone to install on a new computer.
  2. Magnetic Decals?

It actually routes extremely easily. The magnetic material does stick a little to the blade, but it doesn't melt or anything like that. The real pain is the magnetic debris sticking to the magnet itself. It's fine for large magnets, but smaller ones are a problem for cleanup for sure.
  3. Magnetic Decals?

Wow. So I calculated my cost per decal at roughly $0.50, and stouse is going to charge me $0.60 per unit, and I don't have to make them. Thank you for the info.
  4. Magnetic Decals?

So I like this idea, but I've had some issues with getting registration marks to work properly with my CNC. It might be an issue of it being out of square or something, but when I setup 4 registration marks, they don't line up perfectly (so if I line up one mark, the other mark is now wrong, and...
  5. Magnetic Decals?

Hello there Sign friends, I have some standard sign equipment (eco solvent printer, Graphtec cutter FC8600-130, a shopbot CNC machine, and a laminator). Is there an easy way to produce magnetic decals in large quantity? (Specifically customers tend to want Ovals/circles). At the moment I'm...
  6. FC8600 and Onyx - Segment area correction marks

If you happen to figure it out, let me know. I just tested this theory (3 times on one 12' long run) and it absolutely doesn't seem to be true. I REALLY wanted it to read the segments on this job (vehicle wrap material with a very small bleed), but it didn't. In sheet mode nor in roll mode...
  7. FC8600 and Onyx - Segment area correction marks

This doesn't seem to be the case. In fact, I can't figure out why on earth sometimes it reads all the marks, and sometimes it only reads the 4 corners. I'm currently doing a 12' run and, as you suggested, I just marked it as a roll even though I've got it as a sheet. It read the 4 corners, and...
  8. FC8600 and Onyx - Segment area correction marks

Thanks for the reply. I have it set to ARMS scanning (Menu - Arms - Mark Scan Mode), but it forces me to also set it on 2, 3, or 4 marks. Where is the option to set it to auto? The only "auto" function I see is where I load the material and then tell the machine to do an "auto mark read", but...
  9. FC8600 and Onyx - Segment area correction marks

Edit: Nevermind. See bottom of my last post here. Hey all, Just curious if anyone knows how to set the Graphtec 8600 to look for ALL the marks that Onyx pops out. I can only set the plotter to look for "4 marks", and I need it to look for the "Segment area correction" style that pops out...
  10. Banner Scam?

Just to put my input in - I get these e-mails 24/7. While I would never discriminate based on what your first language is - it's very rare for me to get well written and perfectly grammatically correct e-mails from scammers. Most of them aren't based in the US (because they would get arrested...
  11. Need Help Pressure settings: 6mil, 3mil laminated

Gotcha. I figured there would be variance - less interested in getting my numbers exact and more trying to figure out if I'm even close to where I should be. It sounds like I'm not even close to what my pressure should be. I do have the blade installed incorrectly (it's pushed basically all...
  12. Need Help Pressure settings: 6mil, 3mil laminated

Hello, I'm working on setting up my Summa Plotter to work as a Flex Cut (AKA Perf cut). However I came into this job knowing nothing so I'm trying to figure out if my settings are correct - or if I've just happened to make it work my own way. I currently use roughly 165G on 3mil Calendared...
  13. Need Help Printing White & Layers - Epson Sure Color S70675

So I got this figured out - turns out the person who set up the printer and profiles was a little over zealous on the tension setting and had it up to like 17. I've adjusted the tension to 3 or 4, upped the suction to 9, and re-ran the auto adjust function.
  14. Need Help Onyx Rip Error The image failed to rasterize

Ran into this a couple times, normally profile specific. I just edit the image under a different profile, and then switch the profile over to the right profile once it's been rendered and rotated.
  15. Need Help Printing White & Layers - Epson Sure Color S70675

By chance, does anyone have a formatted EPS file setup to do a multi-layer print? Something small would be ideal. I've done the feed calibration, it was off by less than a 10th of a MM, and that might just be my human error reading the calibration strip. This is really a thorn in my side not...
  16. Need Help Printing White & Layers - Epson Sure Color S70675

That would make sense... My initial thoughts were that the files were not set up correctly. Beyond setting up the spot color as white, I haven't really "done" anything extra to the artwork. The person I replaced had managed to pull it off with seemingly no problem with the current setup. I hope...
  17. Need Help Printing White & Layers - Epson Sure Color S70675

Hello, Been around the site a long time, lurking mostly. I've been printing for about a solid year now, and I've been having a hell of a time with getting my white ink to print correctly. The epson does white in layers. C(olor)W(hite)C or CW or WC, depending on how you want your layers...

Hey there, saw a post of yours through google where you mention using a s70675 printer... specifically for layering... is there any chance you could give me some tips? I've been printing for about 6 months, and been in the sign industry for coming on a year... I'm having a real struggle getting...
