I am looking for a 2-sided printable poster paper that is UV compatible. Something that has some sort of blockout to it so you aren't getting the images showing through on the opposite sides. I have a Colorado 1650. Any suggestions?
Yes, we were having these issues when the guy installed it. He was here from the time that we opened until we closed trying to figure it out. He said that he was going to try to get a hold of onyx to see if they could give him any advice but we haven't heard back.
I have another question. We are running printed shirt vinyl on it now. For some reason it is cutting almost all of the vinyl exactly how the file is setup, but in some areas the pen is moving in the correct cut pattern, but it is not dropping down to cut it. So there are some parts of it that...
I downloaded the Plug in for cut master on CorelDRAW and It seems to be working as far as sending the Cut Contour files through there. As soon as I have my current job finished I am going to have to give your suggestion a try.
Thank you!
We have Onyx Thrive Version 19.0.3. It gives us 2 options for the barcode, either standard or Roll. When we use the Standard Barcode, that is when it puts it in the Bottom Left Corner instead of the Bottom Right where the lead edge is. Using standard is when we have to tell it to rotate 90. When...
I just bought this Graphtec FC900 after previously owning the Mutoh VC-1300. I am getting super frustrated with it and I just got it 2 days ago. We are using both flexi and onyx to process our jobs. In Onyx, we can get it to print to our Colorado 1650, but it is putting the barcode in the wrong...
I just wanted to give everyone an update on this project. I ended up using the PETG. It is .020 thickness and it worked great. Thank you for the suggestions. If anyone needs it for anything they have it on amazon for a great price!
I came across this the other day! I was just concerned about it only being .030" Thickness. Was it still pretty sturdy when you used it? Also, how was it with the backlighting, did it make the image foggy at all?
I think the PETG might be a good option for this project. Do you all provide any samples? Also do you have a catalog book with all of your products that you offer? We use Wensco and Fellers for most of our signage and materials but would like to explore different options.
This project has been in the works since the beginning of the year. When COVID hit the customer wasn't open so it got pushed back. Now that they are opening up again we have to get this figured out. That may not be a bad idea though. I will have to look into that. I want to try to see if I can...
I have a customer that has three drink coolers that he wants to replace the graphic at the top with his business logo. The maximum thickness that it can be is .060 and that was tight. So, I am looking for a substrate that has backlit capability (Acrylic, clear polycarbonate, etc.) at .050"...
Thank you all for the responses! iPrintStuff I didn't think about it like that lol. You're right. We have a ton of scrapes that we "might use". Lately I've just been throwing those little scrap bits away.
We just purchased a Colorado 1650 printer. I was just wondering if anyone that owns one has ever printed a single sheet of vinyl that is not on the roll. If so, how do you do it? We do this all of the time on our Mutoh 1624x and were just curious if it is able to be done on this machine as well...
