I have a customer who bought an EPSON S80600 from me because he prints a lot for NY Mets and Islanders and could only match the Oranges with this because it has an Orange ink.

Not trash talking. A belt fed printer is not a flatbed, it's a Hybrid.
On a true Flatbed the substrate you print on does not move!
I sell both versions depending on what the customer needs.

The Colorado line seems like a fairly good printer but if you're not a shop that needs to print at least 5 rolls a day it's not your best bet.

The perf is extremely thick. So super heating monomeric vinyl and bending it 180 degrees around the feed roller on an HP Latex is not going to have good results.
Printing on an eco solvent printer that’s loaded from the back eliminates all the problems.
I print perf for my customers who need it...
Try running in higher passes, say 12 pass to give it more time on the dryer. You can also do this by changing to Uni printing.
Last, put a fan in front of it to help blow it dry!
