A really nice 3 bedroom with at least 2500sq ft and a couple of acres would be around $300,000 around here. Another reason I love rural Kentucky. We are an hour from Louisville and 2 hours from Nashville so we are close enough to the big city if we need anything.

My sister is a Realtor in Charlotte, NC and she said it is crazy there also. Nothing lasts more than a day or two and you have to be prepared to offer way over asking price. I live in rural Kentucky and everything is pretty normal here. There are houses for sale all over the place.
