I have a Mimaki CJV 30 and the prints are a bit grainy. I use the Oracal 3164 film. Do you have any recommendations for which heat settings should be used? Currently, I am using 35, 35, 40.

I always have the problem that after a while the screw on the cutting knife (the razor blade to cut the vinyl off) comes loose, which of course causes a rattling noise even though I always turn it really tight. Does anyone have a similar problem?

We're currently doing a lot of flex cutting with the same designs and I'm wondering how I can use flexi to create the flex contour so that it matches exactly with the neighboring line so that it only goes up and down once. I've attached another picture to help you understands what I mean

I am also considering doing this for my S2, just wondering, with 3 rollers, the vinyl must be at least 12-15cm wide so that all rollers fit. How much is it for 4 rollers, 25 cm? Each pinch roller must be under a grit roller, between two rollers raised up, I don't think that works, right?

We previously worked with Corel, using the Summa plugin, and all our print and cut data are ready in the CDR format. In Corel, the cut paths are stored under the "Kiss-cut" layer. I can export everything as an EPS and open it in Flexi, but I find no way to manually change the paths to a cut path.

So far I have only ever tried the 36 degrees original summa, the knives have always lasted for over half a year. I now have a cheap one for $10 and it has already worn out so much after a day that I have to work with more pressure on all the vinyls . I would like to Try out an original 45 degree...

It's a shame so I only have the option of cutting it in 2 passes or using the flex cut feature. BTW do you make die cut with flex cut or a thick cut directly?
