One thing to think of is the wall itself. Found out the hard way, some paint will not let the vinyl stick, no matter what kind of vinyl you use. We did an install job (the other sign company supplied the vinyl) and the vinyl started coming off the wall. This was not my first rodeo, neither was...
This was our Wedding song  Not only did we both have to tell the DJ we were serious when planning, but the friend who introduced us, brought a CD of the song to make sure it was played. LOL
I agree with Joesignshop. It's the Lexan. I had this happen a few years ago but in my case, it was fall and the Lexan was cold when I applied it. (not freezing, just cold) It went on nice. The Lexan warmed up in the shop overnight, and in the morning I came in to bubbles. I should have waited...
I printed three 6" samples of a multi coloured graphic on clear vinyl. 1 pass, 2 passes and 3 passes. I then put them all on a thin piece of clear Lexan. I show that to my customer to show them the differences and ask them which do they want. I have it on clear so I can put it on different...
We just purchased one as well. My dealer said the ink goes down very slow. When the machine does it's self cleaning, it doesn't use the ink, only the cleaning solution. I have been printing colour chips like crazy and so far I have only used a 1/4 of the bags. He did warn me to have an extra...
Someone else who does racecars. Out of curiosity, what do you charge for a 1/2 wrap on a pure / street stock car? I am in Canada and want to make sure my prices aren't out to lunch.
Love it. This printer has different ink that doesn't smell as bad. The main reason I went with Roland was space. Roland is a one piece unit, where as the others are two piece. One prints, one cuts. Add a laminator and that takes up a lot of room. The Roland also self cleans, so if you have a dry...
Why did you rule out the Roland? We just bought one. I am curious because we also have a home based business and found the Roland suited our needs better. Nothing against the other ones's. A friend just bought an Epson and he loves his.
My hubby races cars and I wrap his. I make it look GREAT. We also do other cars, for friends of his. I give them a bit of a break, but still make money. They are unbelievably cheap when it comes to wrapping their cars. Like the other poster said, they spend big money on their engines and parts...
If you moved it forward already, then I don't know. All I did was add about 6" at the time to make sure there was lots. Then it worked. After trial and error, I now add 3", I found that to be enough. This was on a VP-540.
When this happened to me, I added extra media to the bottom. lined up the two pieces and just taped them together - tape the entire length on both sided, Now I always add an extra 3inches before I sheet cut. Fingers are crossed this helps you.
Well I got the new to me Servo board and installed it. Now I have a new problem. It is trying to clean, but when the wiper slider goes to the back of the machine, it gets stuck there. It makes a thump thump thump sound like it is trying to go further than it can. then I get the 0109 error. I...
I looked online for a new one. I can get one through ebay for 1500.00 USD. Over 2 grand CDN. I am worried, what if this doesn't fix it? Could it be something else?
No I Can't print. I actually had to power down because it kept trying to do the automatic head cleaning and the beeping was driving me crazy. I do put some of the cleaner solution in the cradle everyday to keep my heads from drying out.
