Yeah the new inks aren't liking Avery haha..

I've been running 1105 for a while and it's been great with light colours but had a few dark coloured jobs this week and it was a nightmare. Not sure how long ikarasu has been running for and if any issues on darker colours but I'll send him my file tomorrow and if no issues I think I may switch...

Hey mate I'll shoot you something through on Monday. Are you running cast films? It's only happening on Avery 1105

None of the cast film profiles from Avery work. If you're doing car wraps looks like it's not the right choice unless you want to run the printer slower than a 365

Hey mate, were currently having banding issues what ink density and passes are you running yours at for good results?

These printers are junk....I was thinking of moving over to Arlon SLX so this will have the same issue as it's a cast film?

Hey mate, Thanks for the feedback. I just thought Arlon 4600 would be okay as it's a flat surface. I would of thought a cast would be overkill for something like this

Hey Bob, We use Arlon 4600 for our poly stock which is around half the price for the kit compared to avery 1105. I just thought that especially that you're using for flat surfaces 1105 would be overkill for this type of application. In Aus the Arlon kit specs say it should last 5 years so...

Hey guys, Are you using a cast or a premium poly for your flat panel printing for toolboxes and trailers? Is a premium poly sufficient? There is no curves or anything and have heard a cast is very very overkill as it's all flat but still having doubts. What do you use and why?
