I am helping a friend do a wrap on his 18 x 7 trailer. I have the image but need help getting it ordered correctly as far as OVERLAP and other general questions. I am willing to pay someone to get it ready to order the 1t time around. Thanks

Hello, can help you out as I mainly setup for fleet.
Would recommend 2" bleed for all four sides.
So file size needs to be 220" x 88". As for tiling & over lap what size media are you planning to print on? Sop overall at my shop is .25" but your mileage may vary. Let me know & I can work out the panel widths if you're not using a rip to tile the file

Measure the panels on the side of the trailer - most use 48" wide panels, because of this you can set your printed panel width to give you overlap but then trim at the end of each panel to give a seamless look. Almost no reason for seams if you plan correctly. Use an air release vinyl, can be polymeric calendared to save money or cast if you prefer. I would use a good UV Wrap Laminate on this. As example, Oracal 3551 Rapid Air is a polymeric calendared perfect for a case like this, topped with OraGuard Gloss 290 cast wrap laminate will have a 7 year warranty.

If you want to have panels printed at the same width with .25" overlap for either 48 or 54 the panel width size would be 44.40" wide for a total of 5 panels. If you're not using a rip here is the math
Panels 1 & 5 at 44.15" + .25" = 44.40"
Panels 2-3-4 at 43.90 + .5" = 44.40"
If you're using a rip, tile & add overlap at the rip
Using Avery vinyl & overlamo here
Good luck
