24 Chevy Trax (Exterior Handles)

I find myself quite mechanically inclined, and usually have no problem removing items like handles, mirrors, ect...

I've got a 2024 Chevy Trax in for a color change, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove these exterior door handles!! Has anyone worked on this new model by chance?

The standard rubber grommet is on the inside of the door (jam) as usual, but there's no screw or anything to release them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The last time I did a Ford police car I had to duct tape myself in, drive it to the shop and watch the guy take the entire door apart to get the screw out. Can you call an auto-body shop? Trust me, they will appreciate the call before they have to fix your mistake, if you make one LOL

You don't actually mean you duct taped yourself in.
(sounds like a criminal minds episode!)
