3D Letters - Materials

Hello

I am in Southern Spain

I would like to know a good material to make 3D letters of 30mm plus thickness, suitable to be painted and for indoor/outdoor use.

I think someone suggested foamex, but I thought that was just indoor. I also thought of dense polystyrene but that seems a lot more difficult to source than it ought to be.

Advice gratefully sought.

I think Duna HDU will be your best bet. They are in Italy so I imagine they would be something you can buy in the rest of Europe.
