49" to 54" Engineering Grade Printable White Reflective?

There is nothing I can find in an engineering grade reflective that will allow me to do a 4' x 8' sheet.
The closest is Oracal but it is designed with wrap characteristics so it is 54" but also 3-4 times the price of regular engineering grade. I am in Canada, but any leads on this would be appreciated.

You sound like you are describing Oracal 5600. Have you looked at the 5700 series? It's more of an engineering grade and less flexible.

I use 3M IJ5000 reflective and it is actually 48.5" wide x 50 yards. Prints great.

48.5" won't let me print 48", plus if it is full coverage I need some bleed. The Avery 1500 series was 48.75" -ish and I would get 47.7" printable. The last Avery I got was completely contaminated and the supplier said it is now coming from China and the quality is really bad. He replaced it with Oralite 5400, which is exactly 48".

The Avery has a life UP TO 7 years, and the Oralite 5400 says 4 years and up... I would like to get as long a life as I can as well.

I only use 3M reflective. Oracal's reflective does not hold up like 3M and will fade sooner. We usually laminate reflective to dibond and then flatbed print 4' x 8's. I feel your pain having to print roll to roll on 48".

We use Nikkalite Engineer Grade. Cheaper then 3M EG and pretty much same quality. The nikkalite is usually 48.5" which gives us 48" of room to print. We use a HP L360. If we need full bleed throw in the other platen and print full bleed. Why not just sheet with whatever EG you like and print on clear? Sure it will be a little more expensive but it's going to cost you maybe and extra $20. Add that into the cost and it's not that much more. Plus way less of a headache on you.
