I successfully picked up the used machine that was listed for sale on this forum. Got it installed, powered up, been cleaning it up and changing filters, etc. I printed a photo and had it put white on top (on clear acrylic) and there's a colored line across the top of the image that didn't get white printed on it. When I look at it under magnification, it's Cyan and Yellow, and it appears to be about 10 pixels or less of just those 2 colors. I imagine the next step is to do the printhead alignment? It's been years since I had to line up printheads.
Just for reference, they had a storm come through and got a power surge and the tech replaced all the heads a while back. So I'm guessing that the tech just plopped the new heads in, hit go, and left.
The printhead tests are perfect, so I know the heads are good, but can you refresh my memory on the procedure to go through for getting those dialed in? I thought it was really odd that it was Cyan and Yellow, when they aren't in the same head, but if I remember correctly, that's controlled by software, not mechanical adjustments, right?
Any light (or heavy) guidance would be appreciated!
