60in vs 64in printer

Hi group!

I was wondering, for the one of you that have 60in printer, do you have problems to find material to use the the max width of your printer? Like the majority of banners, they have 54in and then go directly to 63in. The 64 in printer will take practically anything, but the 60in is more like a 54in.

Am I wrong? What do you think of this?

We have 64s so I can't compare the two, but you're right, there is a lot of self-adhesive media available in 60" widths but 60" banner material is few and far between, you definitely don't have a tremendous selection, or at least one that's readily available. Banner is always made in odd sizes like 63" and 38" to give a couple extra inches for hemming, so you can end up with a full 60" banner instead of a 57" one.

If you do a lot of banners, I'd go with the 64" machine.
