A few basic SP-540 questions (Banding, Heat etc.)

When I print stuff in black it tends to look a little like it’s banding. I have checked all my settings but it still looks a little like banding.
Should it be rely super black ore does it always look a little like banding when you print just black?

And the other question is about heat.
What do you need if for if you only print like 3-4 feet at a time? I haven’t tried whit out but yesterday I turned it of and I will print some stuff today and se what happens.

Do a test print and make sure your heads are printing properly - no missing spots on yor test print, then check your Feed Calibration - and check your profile and media type - cheap media will not print as well as good media.
