I just make it a pdf, and have acrobat DC OCR scan it, then I copy and paste the text. There is some clean up though, as some of the words can get mangled if it's not a clear copy.

Is that part of a suite? I never heard of it and can't find a link to download.

It is part of the Adobe Creative Suite, but you can get it separately. Acrobat DC is not free though. And your a Corel guy.
It looks like you found something free that works well for you! I wasn't trying to take away from your nifty find, I just mentioned it for those who already have Acrobat DC (and didn't know you could use it to OCR scan text).
