I've been a channel letter fabricator for some time, and I was posed a question today that I could not recall the answer to. (I don't do a lot of fieldwork)
In an exterior wall mounted channel letter, LED lit, remote power source, aluminum back and return, GP acrylic face attached with jewelite and #8 screws, can you run a switch leg into the letter and mount the switch to the side of the can without installing a J-box inside the letter? The wires to the switch and the secondary leads will be routed through separate sealtite conduits.
