AGFA Anapurna troublshooting

Wondering if anyone on here can help troubleshoot a anapurna. I recently purchased a AGFA Anapurna M, it worked well at the sellers printshop but after the move when we fire her up we get "servo (Carriage) E-0 communication failure"

After a couple on/offs the carriage started to life itself then through the same code...any ideas?

I have contacted AGFA but cant get a eta on a tech.

Initial guess is that a cable or connection came loose in transit. Check all the cables, reseat the connections, and the issue might disappear.

had a AGFA tech come in yesterday (at $725 for an hour of troubleshooting and 20 mins each way of travel...these guys arent cheap) he said that the servo or the caridge motor seem to be faulty. He's ordering new parts while I try to see if I can figure it out.

Was it the motor+encoder or other issue?
