Altitude setting on Latex printers

I am at 1,000 feat and it would interesting to know what changes and affect on printed would one see with these settings.

0 to 1,000 feet? This is where mine is set right now.

or 1,000 to 2,000 feet or what ever that upper setting is as I can see the menu right now?

Anybody know or do I have to test this sometime.
