Aluminium vs brass stand off fixings

Hi,

Do you guys use aluminium or bass stand off fixings?

The aluminium are about half the price of the brass.

Is there any reason not to use aluminium?

Depends on coatings and environment used

The aluminium ones I have used corrode outside and look bad after about 6 months in salt air. Inside no problem.
Brass seem stronger and if the coating is good will last longer outside.
