Aluminum extrusion question

I met with a good customer today and they are looking to have a sign made for their front lobby, they showed me a sign at another location that they want to try to copy the look of.

The sign is circular in shape, suspended from the ceiling, it has an aluminum extrusion on the top & bottom, with a very thin piece of acrylic in the middle (the blue represents the acrylic face in the drawing attached)

I know I've seen this type of extrusion before, but I don't work with extrusions very often, So I can't put my finger on it, does anyone know what this is called?

Cheers!

Yes, it can be done with Octanorm. Altought their extrusion doesn't have the radius you draw and it can be available in standard radii.
The problem with Octanorm is you have to get it through one of their reseller. They will not sell to just anybody.
Other companies make this type of extrusion.... but I'm not familliar with them since we do sell Octanorm here.
I can check what radii are available, just let me know...

The width of the extrusion is 16mm, wich is wider than your sketch,

Thanks guys, I had a look at the Octanorm catalog, I'm not sure if there is anything in there that will work for my application, I think the existing sign is a custom job, so I may have to put on my thinking cap for this one.

Thanks Again
