aye, especially in the winter with weather like we're having...
the first (and last) time I didn't take the time to do so, I came back to a frozen pile of broken tubes in the bottom of the sign.

at least you got to take the face back to your shop to work on. a college we do work for has permenant directional campus signage that we always wind-up changing reflective copy between semesters... 0 degrees outside and trying to remove reflective vinyl, yuck.
