Many may have heard of Bert Monroy who does seminars and tv appearances for Adobe and on behalf of his own work.
Here is incredible piece from his website. Created with Photoshop and Illustrator with tons of layers.

Pushes the hardware as well as the software. Check out his other art with many pieces done on signs in urban settings.

It's full of people he knows and tech luminaries, playing spot the face is fun.

He often tours with the Kelby Training Live series of conferences though they're usually more photography driven. I've seen him a few times, always pick up a few tricks.
