ok i thought you where building in the shop and transporting. We build ours in the shop very similar only using alum angle framework skinned with dibond and lathe screwed overtop, then do our stonework. transports well, they just get heavy sometimes.

I use alum sq tubing, but do the same thing except frame/skin in shop, then do wonderboard/rocks on-site -- I'd rather lift something less heavy and then work outdoors for a few days

Not trying to thread Hijack because I think J hills looks great, but those of you with cranes. You can easily build these in the shop and installed them like any other sign in short time. This is our latest one ready to go

Yeah I actually usually do, but this was 3 hours 1 way away from the shop, and I didn't want to take 2 trucks so we did it all on site.

Gonna bump this, just out of curiosity. My company does some amazing work, and I'm often proud of my personal contribution, but I wonder what the professional courtesy should be regarding pics. Should I get permission before posting my work?

If you do not own the company I would ask permission. There are tons of jobs I do not post for privacy reasons.
