I've already spent almost $3k on my Mutoh 1204 and still not working. Pretty sure it's the mother board.
I'm in Southern California and at my wit's end.These colors are supposed to be Pantone 1895 and 5783. The spot colors look great.
If you zoom in you can see how terrible it's printing. And no nozzle check. The head moves like it's printing but nothing comes out.
How do you know when you've spent enough?
-New maintenance station (that turned out to be not working- the new tech had to put the new motor into the old station.) That was $600 MS + Labor (Tech is in Valencia- DON'T USE HIM, Daniel)
-New DX-5 from Signage Specialist $1,710
-New head cables $90
-Mother board 1 fuse replaced
-Labor for the head, cables & board so far $400
My tech guy took the board back to the only guy that can work on these boards in LA and is coming tonight to put it back in.
Only thing he could see is microscopic ink on the board. Not feeling good about this.
