anyone have any bad SP scan motors kicking around they can donate?

for the past 2 months i have been in the process of trying to learn how to rebuild the scan motors and could use some bad cores. i broke some parts on my only bad motor, its trial and error i guess. i did get it rebuilt and put back together. i also bench tested it and it sounded great, but the printer wouldn't recognize it... i think it might be the encoder strip i bent it a little pressing it off.

i would be willing to pay shipping if anyone was interested in donating to science!!! thanks
