It’s funny because I have the same exact printers but I have a too UCJV330-160Looking for Feedback on Mimaki UCJV330-160 (Dual CMYK)
Hi everyone, I currently run a Mimaki UJV100-160 and an Epson R5070. I like the Mimaki for its reliability—it just prints without much fuss, though the color isn’t amazing and the printheads are on their way out. The Epson gives me beautiful prints but is picky with materials and slower.
I’m considering upgrading to the Mimaki UCJV330-160 with dual CMYK. The samples I’ve seen look great, and it seems like the ink savings from using variable ink levels can really add up. Also, the speed on the UCJV330 looks nearly double what I’m getting now.
Anyone here using it? I’d love to hear real-world feedback—especially on color quality, speed, and material compatibility.
Thanks!
the UJV100 is faster than the 330 at 720x900 dpi , if you what to get a similar print from the 330 you will need to print at 1200x1200
Color is great ,white is better and have better definition, material path is better I think is almost imposible to have a really bad head strike, better build quality is not at simple maquine as the UJV100 series
Haven’t try the clear because I get a bad heat but mimaki is gonna replace ,the clear print really bad in a week or two the replacement should arrive
I love my R5070L it takes time to know the in and outs but for my is really fast and more reliable than the mimakis, you should check the the new firmware just realize this week
