Autos Templates

I have a collection of different Cars and Truck templates, My question is How to use the template, I can make the design the to fit in the area I need of that auto template; but what I have to do so the cutter cut the design at the real size of the car? do I have to change the size manually or the template program have a way to do it?
Sorry for these kind of quetions but it's better to be stupid for 5 minute and not the entire life . so why not ask the expert first before wasting more time guessing. Thank you.

Most templates are 1/20th scale. So in order to cut it correctly you would have to cut it at 2000%. But don't always trust templates, measure as well to save your but.
