Question Avery 1060 Laminate on Outdoor signs?

I was told I can use Avery 1060 laminate for all my outdoor max metal signs. However, I am noticing the laminate has lines going through it (cold application) and figure prints from moving the substrate are really noticeable. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or should i be using a different laminate for outdoor signs? We use 1060 for all vehicle wraps and have no issue with it.

1060 should be just fine, but i'm more of a satin>luster>matte>gloss kinda guy.
grimco's wrapcast overlam is half the price, highly recommend. we use it on everything we put outdoors that intents to last more than a cpl years.

I can't explain the streaks and finger prints....but i can tell you we have 5 and 7 year calendared laminates under $300/roll which will perform as well on a flat surface like this.

Cal lams shrink more than cast lams. Why would someone take that chance?! I’ve found that cutting “corners” is NOT the way to go about it.

Sure it costs less. What $10-$20 over on a 4x8 sign. Why?
