Backlit Banner mounting system??

Ok, doing a remove / replace of a illuminated banner. I havent though used the clip style system. How does this work? Ive enclosed a pic of what it look like. The sign is 15' wide by 8' tall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

looking at that color blue and the way it is cracking is that a NAPA auto parts sign?
we have replaced several that have that style clasp and that type of damage

that is a signcomp system. look on their site and youtube for some schooling on how it works. In the sign industry we call them flexfaces
