backlit film or vinyl?

Hey guys, wanted to ask what most of you do for a last minute backlit work feature? Traditionally I'd use 2 sided clear adhesive to mount on acrylic and then apply the printed backlit film on the substrate. Switching to another company who has no dust control, all I can do and use is translucent vinyl to make backlits. Not the greatest as they're weak in brilliance. Anything out there that most of you may have used that creates a wow effect in backlit printing?

I'm running btw a MUTOH VALUJET. Thanks

If they're washed out when lit up, they need to be double-struck or double-printed, whichever term you're familiar with.
