bad gray printing on mutoh 1324

I'm working on a project for a client that need a bunch of copies. I set things up to print and for the most part it all looks great... except the really bad "rainbow" effect on the gray boarder. I am using IJ 35g media

Were you able to figure this out? My advice would be to check your cap/maintenance station. If your cap isn't sealing properly with the print head it won't do a proper cleaning sometimes resulting in streaks of odd colors/mixed colors.
