Banding increases while printing

Hello Everyone. New member and solvent printer owner.
I have a used machine. Seiko V64s colourpainter. My issue is the print starts off fine,
but as larger prints are being run, the banding increases as well. Not darker banding but lighter.
I have paused the printhead at intervals after which it starts back good then same issue again,
causing a noticeable difference in the print quality between rests.
Any suggestions?

2 things to check. The temperature could be too high and drying ink on the nozzles. It could also be the head height is too high and overspray is collecting back on the heads.

On my 64S typically this rat was a ribbon cable.

Power off unplug from wall. Hold down Power On 2 seconds you will hear
the click. Leave printer unplugged and ReSeat ALL Ribbon Cables.

Power On and get back to work.

Still having Prob?
Prob bad Ribbon cable. Probably the really long one too.
Call Seiko Tech Support. They usually really good about this stuff.

Your Best Solution.

Buy a New HP Latex 300 Series. GTF Away from the Solvents

I owned a Seiko CP 64S
HP 9000 S
Get out of the Stone Age.

You are wasting more money in maint cost, solvent inks, lost media

Will check this out as well. Right now purchasing a new machine is definitely out of the question. But I will be getting that latex printer as soon as I can.
