Banner Help - Vinyl Re/Re

We have a customer who has printed banners that they get vinyl for dates and names added onto that has to be removed 3-4 times a year for various events. The last set of banners they got only lasted 18 months because the banner has started to disentgrate from removing the dates and names so often.

We use Duratex 13oz Banner material, and Avery 2903/2060 for the vinyl decals - is there anything we could try differently to prevent the banners from falling apart?

TIA!

maybe switch it up to a 15 or 18oz banner? What are you using to clean off the banner before applying the new date?

That may be your issue with the disintegrating banner.
We have a pole banner that we replace the dates on every year - similar to what you are doing. I've been updating this banner for about 8 years now. same banner - but it only gets used once a year. It's 18oz banner full color, but I don't use anything harsh to clean it. Just a little denatured alcohol.

Negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is full.
For wording that changes frequently, we use 3M ij36. The adhesive leaves little to no residue for 6-12 months.
