Need Help Best solution for printing art for screens?

I work at a medium/large screen printing shop that prints about 50,000 garments per year.

We currently use a Canon iP8720 with an All Black Ink system from Freehand Graphics to print our separations. However, the printer just crapped out on us and can apparently only be fixed by sending it to a service center. We don't have time for that. This is the third printer in 2 years and it is becoming extremely frustrating.

How does everyone else print their transparencies? What issues, if any, do you come across in doing so?

We need a more permanent solution, as everything we have tried so far is not working. We are at our wit's end. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That looks like a pretty light weight machine. Contact John or Cathy at InkJetMall https://shop.inkjetmall.com/UV45.
They've just changed their distribution supplier, but seem to be running smoothly. They can tell you what machines will take their inks, no BS, honest knowledgable answers.
I don't do screenprint, but buy a fair amount of their specialist inks for digital negative UV printing.

I don't know if you solved this yet or not. We just bought an Epson SureColor T3170X 24" Desktop Printer with Cadlnk softwear and film. We're very happy with it. It uses all black ink so the film is nice and dense.
