better banner material?

Any suggestions for a better banner material.
Any suggestions for non curl banner material for pop up banner stands? I printed on 13oz scrim banner, I believe it was ultra flex ,for a customer. I just printed from their file. It did have a dark background to the edges.
They installed on a stand. Customer called saying vertical edges were curling. I re-enforced the edges with a 3" strip of laminated 3 mill vinyl and gave it back to them.

I use PosPro 200 from Fellers with great results. We laminate it with matte finish
