I don't do many billboards. In fact if I'm not using bars and stretchers I'm lost. Anyway I was asked to make a new face for this billboard for a local company. I don't really want to say no especially since it is my landlord asking me to make it.

Here's the deal. It is a 12' x 25' billboard with what I think is an aluminum face. (I haven't been up there yet) The frame is welded directly onto the poles so no way I can see to stretch the flex around the frame. And, there is nothing to attach straps to, but I think I could weld hooks to the frame so no problem there.

What would you do?

Hand draw & letter it least amount of cost, will last longer, look better = happy customer & community. But if ya want cheap vinyl print it

On the side you can wrap your ratchet straps around the 2nd or 1st pole and hook it to itself. On the top and bottom you will have to spilt the face so it will go around the poles. The top may not have to be split if the poles are not past the frame. The straps on the top and bottom can be hooked to each other for tension.
This will shorten the life of the material but billboard canvas is cheap enough to replace once a year anyway.

I wish. That would be a lot more fun. But the client wants photos on there.
