Black has the fuzzies

Greetings!

Our VP-540 seems to be putting the fuzzies on black output. Same profile, inks and media as usual. I've tried a couple of medium cleans, and a couple of manual cleans - it is a little better, but anyone have any ideas as to what the issue might be and what to try next?

Static?

We turned our AC duct that was close to our printer off. When we print banners we have to spray water around our printer to create localized humidity.

Check that your heads are not set to the HIGH position (a common error). What does the test print look like? Are they fuzzy too? If so, your head(s) are dirty... or damaged from scratches (ouch! $$$)
