Blotchy Prints

I am printing a large logo, chocolate brown on white vinyl. There are large areas with just the solid brown. What would be causing blotches through the brown? It looks fine from a distance but when looking close you can see the blotches in a deeper brown. I cleaned the printer then tried a new roll of OJ 3751. It is better but still there. It may have been doing this for a while and I never noticed because I usually print smaller things and not such a big area of solid colour. Thanks.

Hard to tell from photo but that might be laying down to much ink causing oversaturation

It is just a solid chocolate brown colour. I printed something with a large yellow background today and it was fine.
It should just be one layer if that is what you are asking? An overprint?
